We have placed this new rod under the Rapala TrailBlazer series of travel rods that ensures you have the best quality expected from a Rapala rod. With extensive field testing and many prototype versions, we finally arrived at one rod that is as close to the original Storm Black Kaiten rod in performance and reliability. This rod is true to all the specifications of the original Black Kaiten rod except it comes in a 4 piece configuration. Ratings remains the same at max line PE 2.5 and max jig 200g. Carbon materials have been blended to create a rod that feels and behaves like a single piece Black Kaiten rod. The blended material also makes this rod sensitive and durable. In addition to the durability of the rod in the saltwater fishing environment, the Rapala Trail Blazer Black Kaiten is fitted with all Fuji K Fazlite guides and reel seats.At 6′ Iong and in a 4 piece configuration, this rod is compact and easy to travel with when disassembled. To keep your rod secure, a thick neoprene carrying rod bag with shoulder strap is provided.
